About Vedic Science Journal

Vedic Science was founded in 1999 with ISSN no. 0975-0312 by eminent Vedic Scholars  Late Ram Narain Arya as the mouthpiece of the Indian Foundation for Vedic Science.  Vedic Science was published by International Vedic Vision New York between 2000 and 2009. It was also published in collaboration with Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati Chair (UGC), Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak  between 2021-2025. Now, Indian Foundation for Vedic Science has become the member of Crossreff and all  papers will be published with DOI Numbers. DOI means a digital object identifier. DOIs also offer a permanent link to specific content and its storage location on the internet. DOIs are important because they increase the reach and the impact of your research work.

 

The Vedic Science Journal was is dedicated to publishing scholarly articles that explore the ancient wisdom of the Vedas through rigorous academic inquiry and scientific methodology. Our journal aims to disseminate knowledge rooted in Vedic traditions, harmonizing it with contemporary research and understanding.

The Vedic Science Journal is an independent academic publication dedicated to the intellectual and cultural enrichment of society through education, research, and dissemination of Vedic spiritual and scientific teachings.

The objectives of this journal are as follows:

  1. To publish scholarly articles on the Vedic Art of Living, including research on Vedic Dharma, culture, philosophy, science, ethics, spiritual psychology, and holistic health rooted in Vedic knowledge systems.
  2. To facilitate scholarly research and publication on the Vedas, Upanishads, Darśanas (philosophical systems), Ayurveda, Yoga, Yajña, Sanskrit texts, and the teachings of enlightened Vedic seers, with the objective of restoring and reviving the rational, scientific, and universal message of the Vedas.
  3. To serve as a forum for academic discourse and intellectual exchange on Vedic topics, fostering critical thinking and new interpretations.
  4. To engage in ethical and scholarly publishing practices that promote peace, universal brotherhood, and harmony in accordance with the spiritual ideals of the Vedic tradition.
  5. To preserve and disseminate traditional Vedic knowledge through peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and commentaries, accessible to a global audience.
  6. To encourage interdisciplinary approaches in the study of Vedic values and their application for personal development and the betterment of society.
  7. To maintain strict academic standards, avoiding dogma or superstition, and upholding the universal and monotheistic teachings of the Vedas, in harmony with the vision of Vedic Arsha tradition.
  8. To serve as a nodal international agency for the collection, coordination, and dissemination of information related to Vedic research, including the activities of authentic scholars and institutions engaged in the field, functioning as a central liaison body.
  9. To constitute an authoritative scholarly body capable of formulating informed evaluations, interpretations, and policy decisions in the domains of Vedic philology, hermeneutics (exegesis), and Vedic sciences.
  10. To create a collaborative platform for traditional Vedic and Ayurvedic scholars and modern scientists, fostering an interdisciplinary synthesis wherein the scientific spirit of the Vedas is harmonized with contemporary knowledge systems for the sustainable progress and well-being of humanity—eschewing paths that lead to ecological degradation or civilizational collapse.
