Division of Study for Prehistoric Perennial (Sanātana) World Cultures
- Vision Statement
To rediscover, research, and revive the shared perennial wisdom of prehistoric world cultures — rooted in Sanatana (eternal) principles — and to foster a unifying understanding of humanity's collective cultural heritage before the emergence of divisive civilizational faultlines.
- Background and Rationale
Throughout the world, ancient cultures — from Ancient Sanatana India to Mesoamerica (Maya, Inca, Olmec, Native Americans), Europe (Roma, Celts, Druds), Asia (Chinese, Japanese, Southeast Asians), Africa and Middle East (Egyptians, Sumerians, Akkadians, Phoenicians, Hittites, Chaldeans), Mediterranean (Greeks, Romans, Anatolians), and Aboriginal Australia — reveal surprising parallels in cosmology, symbolism, metaphysics, ritual practices, and social organization. This suggests these cultures may have stemmed from common perennial sources or archetypal frameworks. However, mainstream academia has largely treated these cultures in isolation or under rigid evolutionary paradigms.
Modern civilizational divisions — often based on colonial, linguistic, or religious lines — obscure deeper universal patterns that once defined humanity's early relationship with the cosmos, the Earth, and one another. There is an urgent need to transcend modern biases and explore the deeper substratum of what we may call Prehistoric Perennial (Sanatana) World Cultures.
This Centre aims to reclaim this universal heritage, bridge disciplinary gaps, and offer a platform for global collaborative research into ancient wisdom traditions.
- Objectives
- Research & Documentation
- To conduct interdisciplinary research on prehistoric and early ancient cultures, focusing on shared philosophical, ritual, cosmological, and symbolic systems.
- Inter-Cultural Comparison–Compare and analyze prehistoric cultures to identify commonalities and differences.
- Understanding Cultural Evolution: Study the impact of historical events, such as the emergence of Christianity and Islam, on cultural development.
- Promoting Cultural Understanding: Foster global understanding and appreciation of prehistoric perennial cultures through education, workshops, and public outreach.
- Scholarly Integration
- To bridge the gap between traditional indigenous knowledge systems and modern academic frameworks.
- To promote dialogues between archaeology, anthropology, comparative religion, philosophy, linguistics, genetics and the traditional sciences.
- Preservation & Education
- To preserve endangered oral traditions, rituals, languages, and knowledge systems.
- To create educational modules for universities, schools, and the public on the shared roots of world cultures.
- Global Collaboration
To create a global network of scholars, indigenous elders, knowledge keepers, and institutions working in aligned fields.

- Genetic Anthropology and Human Migration
- Use of population genetics, ancient DNA studies, and genomic mapping to trace prehistoric human migrations and possible cultural diffusion.
- Investigate correlations between genetic lineages and cultural-linguistic clusters among various Indigenous and migratory populations.
- Explore how genetics supports or challenges traditional narratives of human origins found in Sanatana and other wisdom traditions.
- The Sanatana Ethos: Understanding the core values of harmony, dharma (cosmic order), and unity that run through ancient traditions.
- Development of Sanatana Intelligence based upon the data collected, curated and verified through research.
- Methodology
- Interdisciplinary Approach: Collaborate with experts from archaeology, anthropology, history, linguistics, and other relevant fields.
- Field Research: Conduct archaeological excavations, ethnographic studies, and oral history documentation.
- Literature Review: Analyze existing research and literature on prehistoric cultures.
