As early as 1990, Shri Arya-ji envisioned the establishment of an institution rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Vedas, harmonized with rational inquiry and scientific methodology. In pursuit of this noble mission, he founded the Indian Foundation for Vedic Science in 1999—a pioneering initiative aimed at reviving, researching, and disseminating the timeless principles of Vedic knowledge in a modern, accessible framework.

The Vedic Science Virtual Vishva Vidyapeetham is a non-profit spiritual, Educational, religious and research organization established for the advancement of universal Vedic philosophy, and spiritual practice in accordance with the eternal values enshrined in the Vedas, Upanishads, Yoga Darśana, and allied scriptures of the ancient Indian tradition. This Vidyapeeth is dedicated to the spiritual upliftment of individuals and the moral, intellectual, and cultural enrichment of society through education, research, practice, and dissemination of Vedic spiritual and scientific teachings.

The purpose of this organization shall be:

  1. To provide scientific spiritual education and instruction in the Vedic Art of Living, offering structured courses, lectures, workshops, and retreats on Vedic Dharma, culture, philosophy, science, ethics, spiritual psychology, and holistic health rooted in Vedic knowledge systems.
  2. To conduct scholarly research and publication on the Vedas, Upanishads, Darśanas (philosophical systems), Ayurveda, Yoga, Yajña, Sanskrit texts, and the teachings of enlightened Vedic seers such as Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, with the objective of restoring and reviving the rational, scientific and universal message of the Vedas.
  3. To organise a spiritual and yoga retreats that serves as a sanctuary for silence, contemplation, inner healing, and spiritual sādhanā (discipline), inspired by the Himalayan tradition of knowledge and renunciation.
  4. To engage in charitable, educational, and religious activities that promote peace, ethical living, universal brotherhood, and harmony in accordance with the spiritual ideals of the Vedic tradition.
  5. To preserve and disseminate traditional Vedic knowledge through books, recordings, digital media, conferences, and collaborations with educational and interfaith institutions.
  6. To train and guide individuals in the practical application of Vedic values of yama (social discipline)  and niyama (self discipline) such as truthfulness (Satya), non-violence (Ahimsa), self-discipline (Tapas), purity (Śauca), and divine contemplation (Brahmacharya), for personal development and the betterment of society.
  7. To maintain strict non-sectarian principles, avoiding dogma, or superstition, and upholding the universal and monotheistic teachings of the Vedas, in harmony with the vision of Arsha tradition of Bharat.
  8. To serve as a nodal international agency for the collection, coordination, and dissemination of information related to Vedic research, including the activities of authentic scholars and institutions engaged in the field, functioning as a central liaison body.
  9. To constitute an authoritative scholarly body capable of formulating informed evaluations, interpretations, and policy decisions in the domains of Vedic philology, hermeneutics (exegesis), and Vedic sciences.
  10. To create a collaborative platform for traditional Vedic and Ayurvedic scholars and modern scientists, fostering an interdisciplinary synthesis wherein the scientific spirit of the Vedas is harmonized with contemporary knowledge systems for the sustainable progress and well-being of humanity—eschewing paths that lead to ecological degradation or civilizational collapse.
