"सत्यं वद, धर्मं चर" — सत्य बोलो, धर्म का आचरण करो।— तैत्तिरीय उपनिषद् १.११

मैं सभी ज्ञानपिपासुजनों का वैदिक विज्ञान वर्चुअल विश्व-विद्यापीठम् में आत्मीय स्वागत करता हूँ। यह केवल एक शैक्षणिक मंच नहीं, अपितु वैदिक ज्ञान की उस चिरंतन परंपरा का पुनर्जागरण है, जिसने मानवता को सच्चिदानन्द की ओर पथप्रदर्शन किया और अब पुनः वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से युक्त होकर वह ज्योति प्रस्फुटित हो रही है।

वेद—ऋग्वेद, यजुर्वेद, सामवेद और अथर्ववेद—अंधविश्वास या कर्मकाण्ड नहीं, अपितु मानव जाति के सर्वोच्च तत्त्वज्ञान, प्राकृतिक विज्ञान, मनोविज्ञान, आचारशास्त्र और ब्रह्मविद्या के मूल स्रोत हैं। सत्यार्थ प्रकाश में महर्षि दयानंद ने स्पष्ट कहा: "वेद परमेश्वर का अपौरुषेय वचन है"—जिसमें सार्वकालिक, सार्वभौमिक सत्य निहित हैं।

हमारा उद्देश्य है—

  • वेदों के वैज्ञानिक अर्थों का पुनरुद्धार, जिससे यह प्रमाणित हो कि वेद अनुभवसिद्ध ज्ञान के स्रोत हैं, न कि अंधश्रद्धा के।
  • युक्तियुक्त वैदिक चिन्तन का प्रसार, जहाँ भूत-प्रेत, पाखण्ड और अवैदिक कल्पनाओं के लिए कोई स्थान न हो। जो अंधविश्वास, संप्रदायिक मतान्धता से मुक्त हो, तथा वेद, उपवेद, एवं अन्य आर्ष वैदिक ग्रन्थों द्वारा प्रतिपादित तर्कशील विवेचन की परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाए।
  • आध्यात्मिक आत्मबोध को प्रोत्साहित करना, जो बाह्य उपासना से नहीं, बल्कि योग और ज्ञान के माध्यम से आत्मा की प्रत्यक्ष अनुभूति (अपरोक्षानुभूति) पर आधारित हो—जैसा जैसा कि वेदों एवं अन्य शास्त्रों में प्रतिपादित है।
  • वेदों एवं अन्य शास्त्रों, वैदिक -विज्ञान, योग, आयुर्वेद, खगोलशास्त्र, प्राचीन भारतीय काल-गणना, ब्रह्मविद्या, वैदिक मनोविज्ञान एवं खगोल-विज्ञान पर आधारित समग्र शिक्षा को उन्नत करना, जिससे भारत की बौद्धिक परंपरा को समकालीन वैज्ञानिक विचारधारा के साथ पुनः समन्वित किया जा सके।

शास्त्र कहते हैं—

"अथ त्रिविधदुःखात्यन्तनिवृत्तिरत्यन्तपुरुषार्थः॥"

तीनों प्रकार के दुःखों की पूर्ण निवृत्ति ही परम पुरुषार्थ है। — सांख्य सूत्र 1.1

इस ज्ञान-यज्ञ में आप सभी का सादर आमंत्रण है। आइए, एक वैश्विक गुरुकुल की स्थापना करें, जहाँ विवेक जागृत हो, चेतना उन्नत हो और जीवन सत्य के आलोक में प्रकाशित हो।

हमारी यात्रा दीपक की टिमटिमाती लौ से नहीं, अपितु तेजस्वी ज्ञान के प्रकाश से संचालित हो।

ॐ अग्ने नय सुपथा राये अस्मान्।

हे अग्निदेव! हमें श्रेष्ठ मार्ग पर ले चलो। — ऋग्वेद 1.189.1

“सत्यं वद, धर्मं चर” – "Speak the truth, follow Dharma"

— Taittirīya Upaniṣad, 1.11

It is with profound reverence for the Vedic tradition and a spirit of sincere dedication to the universal upliftment of humanity that I welcome you all to the Vedic Science Virtual Vishva-Vidyapeetham. This institution is not merely an academic initiative; it is a renaissance of the timeless Vedic wisdom that once illuminated the world and shall do so again with renewed vigor through the lens of rational, scientific inquiry.

The Vedas—Rigveda, Yajurveda, Sāmaveda and Atharvaveda—are not books of ritual or mythology. They are the foundational scriptures of humanity's earliest scientific, philosophical and ethical inquiry. As Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati rightly proclaimed in the Satyārtha Prakāśa, "The Vedas are the infallible word of the omniscient Creator," revealing eternal truths in a universal language of reason, morality and natural law (ṛta).

In the light of this eternal vision, the Vishva-Vidyapeetham aspires:

  • To revive the scientific understanding of the Vedas, as not texts of blind faith but as sources of objective, universal knowledge.
  • To train minds in rational Vedic thinking, free from superstition  and sectarian dogmas, in the spirit of critical inquiry as advocated by the Vedas and  other Ārṣa (Vedic Rishis) literature.
  • To promote spiritual self-realization, based on the direct realization of the self (aparokṣānubhūti) through Yoga and knowledge, not through external worship, but through internal discipline as taught in the Yoga Darśana of Maharshi Patañjali.
  • To advance holistic education enshrined in the Vedas, Upavedas, Brāhmaṇas, Āraṇyakas, Upanishads, Vedāṅgas, Upāṅgas and Dharmaśāstras, Vedic sciences, Ancient Indian Chronology, Vedic  psychology and cosmology—reintegrating India's intellectual traditions with contemporary scientific thought.

Let us never forget that mokṣa—liberation—is the ultimate aim of all education (vidyā), and that liberation comes from knowledge of the self, not from rites or rituals. As declared in the Sāṅkhya Darśana:

"Atha trividhaduḥkhātyantanivṛttir atyanta-puruṣārthaḥ"

"The total cessation of the threefold miseries is the supreme goal of human life."                                                                                             (Sāṅkhya Sūtra 1.1)

We invite seekers, scholars, scientists and students from across the globe to participate in this sacred yajña of knowledge (jñāna-yajña). May this platform become a digital Gurukula, where minds are liberated and souls are awakened, in harmony with the highest truths of the Vedas.

Let our journey be guided by light—not of flickering lamps, but of radiant knowledge.
