Course Description
This capsule provides a foundational introduction to the Sanskrit language. Learners will grasp the alphabet, basic grammar, simple sentence construction, and essential vocabulary for engaging with Sanskrit texts and mantras.

Facilitator’s Spiritual Grounding
- Chant a Sanskrit mantra before the session to create a sacred learning environment.
- Dedicate the session to the traditional teachers of Sanskrit.
- Maintain accuracy in pronunciation and grammar.
Learner Engagement Tips
- Begin with a pronunciation exercise; end with a simple Sanskrit phrase.
- Use visual aids for the alphabet and grammar concepts.
- Incorporate group chanting and repetition.
- Encourage students to create their own simple Sanskrit sentences.
