Absolute Precessional Calibration and Structural Chronology in the Aryabhatiyam: Deconstructing the 26,000-Year Modular Matrix and Bhaskara I’s Operational Radix

Abstract
This paper presents a mathematically rigorous resolution to the chronological discrepancy between the traditional timeline (as preserved in the Surya Siddhanta) and the equal-quadrant system introduced by Aryabhata I in the Aryabhatiyam. Modern linear historiography uniformly errs by compressing these deep macro-cosmic eras into a singular, Westernized Christian Era (CE) linear timeline. Such structural superimposition remains thoroughly unsupported by physical retro-calculations of planetary longitudes.
By prioritizing internal textual metrics over external assumptions, we isolate an exact mathematical shift of 648,000 years between the two systems at the commencement of the current Yuga sector. Furthermore, we deconstruct a systematic 26,000-year variance embedded within the Aryabhatiya-bhashya of Bhaskara I. The literal manuscript phrase "द्वाविंशतिलक्षाः षट्षष्टिसहस्राणि" (dvāviṃśati-lakṣāḥ ṣaṭṣaṣṭi-sahasrāṇi = 2,266,000 years) and its emended transcript readings of 3,266,000 years directly conflict with Aryabhata’s strict core baseline of 3,240,000 years for three elapsed quadrants.
Through multi-stage matrix calculations utilizing raw Aryabhatiya constants, we prove that this 26,000-year padding acts as an intentional axial precession gear-ratio tuner yielding an Ahargana shift of exactly 9,347,682 civil days. Because this day-count evaluates to 9,347,682 mod 7 = 0, it updates the cosmological clock by precisely one full gyroscopic loop of the Earth without altering week-day sequencing. We map the resulting fractional remainders across the full planetary matrix (Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn), calculate the retrograde shift of the eclipse node (delta Rahu = 100 degrees 56 minutes 35.88 seconds), and quantify the seasonal year length contraction of 3.323 seconds per annum. We conclude that Bhaskara I’s numerical anomalies represent an independent, modular astronomical runtime engineered to decouple the sidereal frame from tropical seasonal drift.
