The course emphasizes a practical approach, enabling students to develop essential language skills for further study of Sanskrit literature and philosophy.

Learning Objective

The objective of this course is to provide students with a solid foundation in the Sanskrit language, enabling them to read, write, and understand basic Sanskrit texts. The course aims to introduce the grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation of Sanskrit, while fostering an appreciation for its rich literary and philosophical heritage. Assessment:

Those who want require certificate, they shall have to undergo the following assessment process. Those who are doing the course to enhance their knowledge and need no certificate, they need not undergo the process of assessment.

• Participation (discussion forums & live Q&A) – 10%
• Final Exam (reading and writing) – 20%
