I heartily compliment renowned Vedic Scholar Prof. Ravi P. Arya for launching this laudable gigantic project ' Vedic Science Virtual Vishva -Vidyapeetham' with the objective of generating general awareness among peoples of the world in order to make their lives sublime through this ethereal knowledge.

The Vedas are universally acknowledged as the "Most ancient of books in the Library of Mankind" (Prof. F. Max Muller) and are "the results of a primitive Divine Revelation" ( Rev. Morris Philip).

It is well known that over three and a half millinia back, no Religion existed in the world. But the Vedic civilisation called "Vishvārā Sanskari" prevailed the world over. An Arab Poet ' Labi Bine Akhtab Bine Turfa' who exisited 2300 years before Prophet Muhammad ( 7th Century B.C.) wrote a poem in Arabic on the Vedas, the English version of the opening verse of which reads :
" O the sacred land of Hind ( India) ! You are blessed because God has chosen you for His Revelation !"

The Egyptian civilisation is said to be over 5000 years old. Its inscriptions on the walls reveal Vedic / Indian influence on that e.g. on the concept of Reincarnation ( Rebirth of Souls after death) .The following statement of Joe Fisher is worthy of attention :

" The Greek historian Herodotus, who lived in the fifth century B.C., pointed to the Egyptians as the first Reincarnationists, while the Egyptians themselves acknowledged that the teaching had come out of the East in the unfathomable long ago. Their writings tell how the god Osiris, who personified esoteric knowledge, was driven to Egypt from India in the form of a spotted bull."

There are innumerable illustrations of Vedic influence the world over, but by the passage of time it has submerged under the heap of History. In this context , it is a laudable venture by esteemed Professor Ravi P. Arya to unearth from the thick layers of History and show to the World that we , all humans , share common spiritual links as brethren in a household : " Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam", which has been succinctly put by H.G.Wells as : "Our true nationality is Mankind."

It is, therefore, the bounden duty of all scholars of Vedic Science and Culture to assist Prof Ravi P. Arya in this gigantic project. I, for one, will be pleased to contribute to the best of my ability and a little knowledge of vast ocean.

The Rig Veda (1.3.12) proclaims :  "Vast is the ocean of sacred words which enlightenes the Universe with Divine vision."

(महो अर्ण: सरस्वती प्रचेतयति केतुना । धियो विश्वा वि राजति ।। -- ऋग्वेद 1.3.12 )

Let us do our bit to absolve ourselves of Rishi Riña, indebtedness to our spiritual Gurus.
